In a surprise, Keon Johnson will not be a member of the Nets this coming season.
The team asked for exemptions from one of the most productive players last year.
Days before the training camp they were even less experienced.
The 23-year-old Johnson was an important part of the nets last season, with 56 games and an average of 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
Only Jalen Wilson logged in more minutes and the 6-foot-5 Johnson led the nets in total games played (79).
Johnson, that should be noted, had to do with a non -specific injury, which played a role in the move, reported the posts Brian Lewis
Minutes will also be more difficult to visit the defense half, after the nets used three of their five first round picks on guards and Egor DUMIN, Nolan Traore and Ben selected Saraf.
Before the release of Johnson, the nets were on 19 standard contracts. A team can only have 15 at the start of the season.
A former star in Tennessee, Johnson was taken with the 21st Pick in the 2021 design by the Knicks and the clippers for Quentin Grimes. He also played for the trail blazers before he fell at the Nets for the 2023-24 season.
Johnson was a bright spot in a difficult season last winter won only 26 games, their least since the 2016-17-average season a career high in points and rebounds.

He became a favorite of first -year head coach Jordi Fernández, a quality adultery with a strong engine. But with the nets that load into the design, there was less a chance.
