Need help! Cannot reattach the locking lever on the stringing machine

Hello everyone! This is my first message I hope this is the right section.

Context:

For context, I live in Australia and bought a stringing machine from the tennisman.de website. I had a horrible experience receiving this stringing machine, went through an incredible amount of stress and experienced major delays in communication from their end. However, I may share this story in another post to make others aware of the whole process. The point of posting here is that I don’t have much confidence that Dirk (from tennis guy) will answer in a timely manner (or at all).

Problem:

It appears that the lever used to lock the turntable in place has become loose and I can’t screw it back in because the angle is not aligned with the hole. The mechanism that the lever screws into appears to be locked in place, so I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to unlock it somehow and move it back or realign it to its original position. I’ve tried using a screwdriver/metal object to physically move it but it won’t budge.
