The semi-finals of the NBA Cup are no longer played in Las Vegas from the 2026-27 season.
During the Board of Governors meeting on Wednesday, the competition announced The semi -finals for the NBA Cup are played in Team Arenas. However, the final will still be held on a neutral site.
Since the competition has added the NBA Cup to the schedule in the 2023-24 campaign, the semi-final and finals have been played in T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Vegas will still organize the last two rounds of the tournament this season. According to December 16, those games will be played on December 13 (semi -finals) and 16 (final), according to Nba.com.
The NBA did not confirm whether Las Vegas would remain the host site for the champion match after the 2025-26 season, but the competition stated that future matches will be played on a neutral site.
The two semi-final matches of the NBA Cup Tournament 2024-25, for example, are said to have been played on Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee and Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
The Bucks and Thunder won their semi -final and won the Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets respectively.
NBA Cup set for the third edition in 2025-26

The NBA Cup consists of two phases – group game and the knockout rounds.
All 30 teams were randomly drawn into groups of five within their conference based on Win-Loss records of the regular season 2024-25.
The East and West groups were unveiled in July.
Each team plays four designated groupplay games on “Cup Nights”, which will take place from 31 October and continue until November 28.
After group game, eight teams continue to the knockout rounds. Those teams include two wildcards and teams that are the best in group games in each of the six groups.
In fact, the wildcards will be the team of each conference with the best record in group games that ended in second in the group.
In the meantime, the knockout rounds will consist of single-elimination competitions in the quarterfinals (Tuesday December 9 and Wednesday December 10), semi-final and championship.
The knockout teams will compete for a prize pool and the NBA Cup Championship Trophy.
