The deal was originally signed in September 2024 and concerned the acquisition of the remaining interest in Moonshine Technology Private Limited, with a value of approximately RS 15.90 Crore.
The decision comes after the implementation of the promotion and regulation of the Online Gaming Act, 2025, which came into force on 22 August 2025.
This created what the company described as a ‘equipment adverse effect’, which led to the termination of the agreement.
Nazara Technologies confirmed that on 31 August 2025 it issued a notification of termination to i3 Interactive. According to the conditions of the deal, the agreement will be officially terminated after 30 days after the notification, unless resolved earlier.
