What is MyAppFree?

MyAppFree (also known as MyFreeApp) is a rewards app that pays users to download and try new apps, play games, complete tasks and take surveys.

You earn points, and once you reach the payout threshold, you can redeem them for rewards like PayPal cash, Walmart and Amazon gift cards, Spotify, Visa virtual cards, Apple Store and Google Play.

They work with app developers and advertisers who want more people to try their products, and pass a portion of the marketing budget on to you as a reward.

There are over 200,000 active users in this app, and the average amount earned per user per day is $12 (according to MyAppFree).

And in case you’re curious, MyAppFree has a Trustpilot rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars (with 149 reviews), App Store rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars (with 708 reviews), and a Google Play rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars with around 7,000 reviews.

Why does MyAppFree pay you to play games?

This is a question I often get with these types of apps!

Companies and developers behind apps and games are willing to pay for new users. Instead of spending their marketing budget on traditional advertising, they work with platforms like MyAppFree to get people to actually download and use their apps. This gives them better engagement and real user data.

MyAppFree earns a commission from advertisers when you complete an offer, and they share a portion of that with you. So yes, it’s real money – and you get a little piece of the advertising pie.

How does MyAppFree work?

It’s easy to get started with MyAppFree:

  1. Download the app
  2. Create a free account
  3. Browse available offers, surveys and games
  4. Complete tasks and earn coins
  5. Verify your profile (required before you can redeem your money)
  6. Redeem rewards once you have at least $1 in coins

Everything I tried was tracked immediately and correctly, which is one of the main things I look for in an app like this.

MMy experience with MyAppFree

This is what I tested:

  • Tried a paid job at The Wall Street Journal
  • Played two different games
  • Completed surveys to test the tracking

Let me break that down a bit further:

Here is a screenshot of the WSJ job and possible earnings.

WSJ Offer

One of the better paying offers I saw was for The Wall Street Journal. I paid $3.99 to start a trial subscription, and MyAppFree paid me $9.75. I canceled the subscription after that, so I came out ahead – easy free money!

Here’s an example of one of the games I tried on MyAppFree.

Games and tasks

I tested a puzzle game called Unraveling Master and a few other game tasks to ensure coins were tracked correctly. Each game had clear instructions (such as reaching level X within a certain number of days) and showed my progress.

Everything was followed quickly and without any problems.

Surveys

Surveys were quick and easy. Like many platforms, screenouts sometimes happen, but MyAppFree will let you know how long each survey will take and what you’ll earn before you start.

How to Make Extra Money with MyAppFree

If you want to maximize your earnings on MyAppFree, here are a few tips:

  1. Check the app daily – New tasks appear all the time.
  2. Look for the best payout-to-time ratio – Some games pay €20+, but can take a lot of time.
  3. Take surveys while you wait – It is a fast way to build coins.
  4. Try paid offers wisely – Some require purchases or subscriptions but pay you more than they cost. But of course you want to be careful and not lose money.
  5. Verify your profile so you can redeem faster.
  6. Enter any promotional codes you receive – There is a ‘bonus’ tab in the app and if you come across any promotional codes, such as in an email from MyAppFree, you can enter them here. For example, I received an email with a 20 cent promotional code.
  7. Check out their Missions tab – This is where top players in the app can compete for more real rewards through the leaderboards.

One thing I always recommend is that when you start a new task, you reach the first check mark and make sure it is followed before moving on. This is so that you can be sure that you are doing everything correctly, without spending too much time troubleshooting in the beginning.

How Much Can You Earn on MyAppFree?

Your earnings vary depending on how active you are and what tasks you choose. I made $12 playing for about 2 hours on my phone.

Some gaming tasks offered $50+ if you reached certain levels. Surveys generally pay 25 cents to $1 each.

If you still enjoy playing mobile games or trying out new apps, this can be an easy way to make some extra money in your spare time.

To redeem your money, you must verify your profile.

Payouts and minimum withdrawals

One thing I loved: you can cash out with as little as $1. That’s a super low payout threshold compared to other apps.

You can redeem your coins for rewards such as:

  • Amazon gift cards
  • PayPal cash
  • Google Play Gift Cards
  • And more

My first payout was an Amazon gift card and I received it immediately.

Now I do want to mention that you will need to verify that you are a real person to receive your first payment from MyAppFree. This involved scanning the front and back of my driver’s license and taking a photo of my face. They do this to prevent fraud and fake accounts from gaming the system.

Advantages and disadvantages of MyAppFree

Here are the pros and cons of MyAppFree.

Pros:

  • Super low payout threshold of $1
  • Tasks are tracked immediately and accurately
  • Great mix of games, surveys and offers
  • Fast payouts
  • Easy to use
  • I also like that they have a ‘My Missions’ tab so you can easily see what tasks you are working on

Disadvantages:

  • Some tasks take time (such as reaching game levels)
  • Not every research is available to everyone
  • Some tasks and games require upfront expenses
  • Must verify your account with a driver’s license (this is to prevent fraud so I can see why they do it)

Frequently asked questions

Below you will find answers to frequently asked questions about MyAppFree.

Is MyAppFree legit?

Yes, based on my experience it is definitely legit. I tested multiple offers and all my coins were accounted for and paid out. My Amazon gift card reward was received immediately.

Does MyAppFree have customer support?

Yes, they have a help and customer service section in the app. I didn’t have to contact them as everything went smoothly, but it’s nice to know that help is available if needed. If you’re having a problem with a reward not appearing, you can simply go to the tasks and click the button that says “Missing rewards?” and open a card. They will ask you to check certain things first, such as whether you have met all the requirements, whether you are a new user to the task and whether your VPN is disabled. Once these are addressed, they will likely ask you for screenshots to figure out what’s going on. You can also contact them via the email address support@myfreeapp.io.

Can you use MyAppFree on iPhone and Android?

Yes! MyAppFree is available on both iOS and Android.

What are the best ways to make money on MyAppFree?

Games and paid offers have the highest payouts. But if you want faster earnings, combine surveys and quick tasks while working on long-term goals for the game.

Do you have to spend money?

No, many tasks are free. But some of the higher paying offers (like WSJ) may involve a small purchase. Always read the instructions.

Are MyAppFree and MyFreeApp the same?

Yes, MyAppFree and MyFreeApp are the same company.

MyAppFree Review: Is MyAppFree Worth It? – Summary

I hope you liked my MyAppFree review.

If you’re looking for a legit, easy-to-use app to make some extra money in your spare time, MyAppFree is worth a look.

I liked that the app was easy to use, kept track of everything correctly and paid out quickly. Even better, the $1 cashout minimum makes it easy to cash out without waiting weeks.

As with any Get Paid To (GPT) app, this won’t replace your day job, but it can be a fun way to make a few extra dollars while playing games or trying out new apps.
