A clarinetist was arrested after playing her instrument to the tune of the “Ghostbusters” theme song outside an ICE facility in Portland, which has recently become a site of daily clashes between federal agents and protesters.

Oriana Korol, 38, was playing “Ghostbusters” with her group — the Unpresidented Brass Band — during a large-scale protest outside the ICE facility in Oregon’s largest city Sunday night when federal agents arrested her, her loved ones said. She has since been taken to a Washington jail as her husband and bandmates demand answers about her arrest.

“Why are they targeting a clarinetist? A clarinetist who stands on the sidewalk far from the street and takes instructions,” her husband wondered, noting they share a three-year-old child.

Korol protested ‘peacefully’, her band said in a social media post Monday. “Taking our citizens out of state to detain them without charge is another action by the Fed and it must be addressed.”

Portland’s ICE facility has become a battleground in recent weeks for anti-immigration protesters and federal agents, which President Donald Trump has sent to the liberal city, calling it “war-ravaged” as part of his crackdown on crime.

The clarinetist’s husband, who has not been publicly named, recalled the vivid scene that quickly turned into what he called a “terrifying one.”

“It’s a beautiful party atmosphere. Everyone’s very excited. Then the band starts doing ‘Ghostbusters,’ and then at ‘Ghostbusters,’ ICE starts storming in,” he said. Koin6.

The Ghostbuster theme comes from the popular 1984 film and includes lyrics such as “who you gonna call” and “If there’s something strange near you.”

Footage obtained by the outlet captured the musician face down in the mud, with her instrument about two feet to her left, struggling as what appeared to be a federal agent straddled her butt. A police officer stood next to the pair.

Korol later walked away from the scene, her arms behind her back, flanked by two law enforcement officers, the video showed.

She was arrested around 5 p.m., but her husband did not learn of her whereabouts until 2 a.m. the next day, only to discover that she was being held at the Clark County Jail in Vancouver, Washington, he told KOIN6.

“We don’t see her. We don’t know when we’ll see her again,” he said.

Jail records show she was arrested Monday. It was not immediately clear why she was transported across state lines.

Korol was arrested by the Department of Homeland Security and is being held on suspicion of assault on a federal officer, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said. KKG.

The independent has asked the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and DHS for more information.

Korol appears to be one of three people arrested near the ICE facility on Sunday, police said Portland FBI.

Three protesters were arrested in Portland on Sunday for “assaulting law enforcement officers, including spitting, kicking and biting officers,” Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin told KGW in a statement.

She called the protesters “domestic antifa terrorists and anti-ICE rioters” and claimed they staged “die-ins” by lying naked in the street and blocking roads near the federal facility, apparently referring to the group of naked cyclists who cycled past the building on Sunday.

“These ugly tactics will not stop us or slow us down – our law enforcement will continue to remove murderers, pedophiles, rapists, gang members and terrorists from our country,” McLaughlin said. “This chaos and violence will end under President Trump. Law and order will prevail.”
