Batavia, NY – Jim Morrill Jr. On Friday (September 19), set up a row of clinic in Batavia Downs while schooling his competition for seven winners and pushed himself into the dashboard for the current summer/autumndowns meeting.

Morrill also placed a second of his 11 total disks and gave himself a flashy .687 UDR for the evening. Morrill has always been a high percentage of Reinsman and currently hits a .433 for the entire year and that places him third among all drivers in North America with less than 500 starts.
Morrill started the map with 43 victories, which was five behind Drew Monti (48), but he is now on 50 victories, one for Monti, who won one race on the map to bring itself to 49.
The recommended races on Friday were a few of $ 11,100 mid-level conditioned pride. In the first newspaper boy pulled the headlines while suppressing his enemies of a class drop.
Newsboy (Drew Monti) exchanged leads with Latavius (Jim Morrill Jr.) before he eventually settled on it: 29.4 quarter. Monti then hit the pace with pedestrians 1: 00.1, but had no one of the peloton that pushed the issue. Latavius continued to follow newspaper boy from the bag while he walked on the back of the rear and around the last turn. At the top of the rack, Latavius took the Deuce in Chase, but newspaper boy had fled the stage and scored a victory with a length in 1: 58.3.

Newsboy ($ 2.68) is owned by Carl Monti and Jim Caradori and trained by Darrin Monti.
In the second split, spicy hops got the leap, led at any station and won the race handy.
John Cummings Jr. settled in third place with spicy hops to StarlitCrescrencentroll (Dave McNeight III) and the famous Dan (Jim Morrill Jr.) argued for the leadership of the gate. When that dust was established, spicy hops pulled itself for it: 28.2 quarter in the front and dominated from there. Spicy hops ran without prejudice, went to half: 59.2 and three -quarters in 1:29, while Northernchaancellor (Drew Monti) made an offer from third parties and StarlitCrescerroll continued to haunt from the bag. All the efforts to catch the leader, however, were useless when spicy hops turned home, clearly the best, and won with a length in 1: 58.1.
Spicy Hops ($ 5.14) is owned by Gary Ballowwe and Cassie Russo, who also trains the winner.
Live racing resumes on Saturday (September 20) on Batavia Downs with post time at 6:00 PM and a transfer to $ 1,412 in the Jackpot Super Hi-5 Pentafecta in the 12th race.
