The MMA world has reacted to Manel Kape’s first-round knockout victory over Brandon Royval at UFC Vegas 112. In the 3-minute first round, Kape caught Royval with a nasty right hook, dropped him and then finished him with ground and pound, seemingly rendering Royval unconscious.
Although ‘Raw Dawg’ protested the stoppage, the referee made the right call as it was clear that Royval was unsteady on his feet after taking heavy blows from Manel Kape non-stop.

Former UFC doubles champion Henry Cejudo posted on X calling Kape the next challenger for the flyweight title:
“Manel Kape is NEXT for the Flyweight Title. Book it!! #UFCVegas112”

“KAPE’S NASTY KO PUNCH IN ROUND 1. Never before have I seen that kind of punching power from him. Royval looks clean and picks him apart from distance early, but Kape shoots him down with his first real attack #UFCVegas112 Crazy new punching power in his game, Royval’s chin is hard to crack.
Kape, who has recorded three straight finishes in his last three outings, now wants to fight newly minted flyweight champion Joshua Van. During the octagonal interviewhe said:
“Now we’re talking. Joshua Van, you thought Brandon Royval would do something… Now you have my belt. If I didn’t break my foot in July, I’d be the champion right now… I’m here. Your daddy’s gonna take your diapers… Be prepared. Let’s fight in Houston in February. Just sign the contract. Just be ready…. No one can deny my belt. I’m the best here. I’m the best king.”
