That looks more like it, guys. At the moment there are actually only two things that matter – refueling and Drake Baldwin. Because of Fwar, Baldwin currently has the most valuable Rookie season in the National League for exactly 3 wins. Chad Patrick, Gift Horton, Caleb Durbin, Isaac Collins and Jakob Marsee are all within a solid argument to take the price home. Based on a game, Baldwin is still better than the other batters with the exception of Marsee, but his 53 games and .376 Babip probably eventually disqualify him. He has been good and will probably be pretty good, but I don’t think he’s 6 wins good. It is difficult to immediately compare with pitchers, but their peripherals are not as good as their ERA results.
Oh hey, that’s us. If you want a summary of the game, go here for a more detailed look. It is too late to catch up with the Pirates at the moment, because the Pirates are still 5 games “ahead” on the lottery race, but winning the Pirates can still influence the overall classification.
Aaron Nola had a perfect competition that went into the sixth, and he eventually threw 8 innings and got two hits, one point in a Christian Vazquez of all the home run of the people, and no strikeouts, before Jhoan Duran made things interesting in the ninth. The Phillies spread a few points from Joe Ryan, who went five innings and switched nine himself, but he gave up a few points. And the twins are just not very good nowadays. In fact, they are worse than the pirates, so there is no chance that the Braves will catch them. But they attracted a game for the pirates.
Old friend Shea Langeliers ended with a two -hree in the ninth, “spoil” the center of the start of Mason Barnett. Noah Cameron, with a solid Rookie season of itself, had a half (?) Start. De Bullpens have done fantastic work until L. Avila gave up the game winner. I had Luis Avila -Flashbacks that see that, but it’s Luinder Avila. Because of this victory, De Braves was able to take a lead of one match about athletics.
This started rough for Sandy Alcantara. Francisco Lindor hit a lead -off at home, Juan Soto ticked a single and Pete Alonso (after a Brandon Nimmo -Flyout) doubled him home. They didn’t do anything on the Mets way. Rookon Brandon Sproat did well for the first four innings before the wheels fell in the fifth, and the Marlins all scored six of their runs. On real Marlins -fashion, it was for them, but this time it was enough. Atlanta achieved three games and took the Marlins.
I imagine that you knew that Aaron Judge was good, and he lived in this, his 51st of the year. But did you know that Giancarlo Stanton is still good? Twice homing in that season brought his seasonal line to .264/.340/.561 (146 WRC+) and enough for 1.5 victories. Well, he is still injured, so he only played 76 games. Trevor Rogers, who has only given up 3 home runs all season, gave up three in this. The Orioles and Braves are bound at 75-85.
At the moment we really only look at the athletics and the orioles. The twins and the pirates are close by, so the series of this weekend can change the outcome there.
