Mizuho Bank Ltd. Has Devendra Sharma from Mashreqbank hired PSC as its co-head of company sofa in India, according to people who are familiar with the case, because the Japanese lender in the country wants to expand.
In the coming weeks, Sharma will become a member of the unit of Mizuho Financial Group Inc. Mizuho refused to comment, while Mashreqbank confirmed his resignation. Sharma, who worked at Mashreqbank for eight years, did not respond to an SMS message that was looking for comment.
Sharma becomes a Mumbai-based director of the Japanese lender and takes care of the company of the bank in West India, said people. He has about two decades of banking experience, including Icici Bank Ltd., HSBC Holdings PLC and National Australia Bank Ltd., according to his LinkedIn profile.
