Technology and Business Services Firm Mindsprint, formerly known as Olam Technology and Business Services (OTBS), has inaugurated a facility of 87,000 m² in Chennai. The company is also planned to open its second office in Bengaluru next month.

These developments follow after the recent global expansion of Mindsprint, in which offices were previously launched in Sydney, Australia and New Jersey, USA. The Chennai Office also has a customer experience center and technology hub.

Since the beginning of this year, the company has already adopted 300 to 400 people in India. The new Bengaluru office will serve as an extension of the existing space.

Mindsprint currently derives almost 90 percent of its income from Olam Group companies, including three large customers based in London and Singapore. However, the company is investigating the diversification of its customer base. During a recent press conference, Suresh Sundararajan, CEO of Mindsprint said: “The company is planning to gradually get non-Oolam customer growth up to 20, 30, 35 percent in the next four or five years.”

North America services as the most important non-Oolam market of the company that contributes to 58 percent of its turnover, while 29 percent APAC and 13 percent come from the Middle East.

The company is also planning to use an AI-first strategy that will be used for internal and external stakeholders. It said that the 5-6 percent of its turnover spends R&D, with 70 percent of those funds focusing on building AI-specific possibilities in various practices. The rest of the amount goes in the unit of the company, called Fast Forward Labs.

“Fast Vooruit Laboratories or FFL is a unit within the organization that is aimed at building IPs and solutions that will help our customers accelerate their business transformation trip. The company has built several solutions in the last 18-24 months that we have brought on the market where we have already had a few customers on board,” said Sagar PV, CTO, from Mindsprint.

Some solutions include Sprintap, a fully automated, agent AI-driven accounts to be paid; Procuresprint, a plug-and-play purchasing tool with real-time expenditure visibility; Sales sprint, which makes intelligent sales optimization possible; TradePrint, a data -driven trading decision system made for raw material markets; And Guardian Eye, an AI-driven platform that is designed to constantly check external threats and manage security vulnerabilities.
