Mindspace Reit increases RS 550 Crore through sustainability -related bindings from IFC

Mindspace Business Parks Reit, developer of Grade A Office Assets, has collected an additional £ 550 crore through sustainability -related bonds (SLBs) of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private army of investment of the World Bank Group. This follows on his first SLB issue of £ 650 Crore in June 2024, which means that the total SLB financing is brought to £ 1,200 crore.

The bonds have a term of office of eight years and have been assessed [ICRA] Aaa (stable). Bureau Veritas Industrial Services (India) PVT. Ltd. gave the second party’s advice on the issue, while Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co acted as a legal adviser to the Emittent.

Structured as sustainability-bound instruments, the bonds are directly bound to measurable ESG performance goals, including reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, expansion of green management areas and reducing energy intensity. By linking financial results to milestones for sustainability, Mindspace Reit ESG principles rejects in its growth strategy, while strengthening its dedication to responsible and transparent financing.
