Mike Brown has his Knicks roster protection expectations make clear

Because it relates to the latest KNICKS schedule spots, the official word of coach Mike Brown is a real competition without pre-set leaders.

“Whether you are here with a guaranteed deal, you are here for a non -goddened deal, you compete your butt,” said Brown on Wednesday after his first official training as Knicks coach. “And in the end we have a lot of time to make a decision about what will happen, and we will find out who we should fit and who should fit, but it will be a process.

“There is no one in the front now.”

The Knicks have to fill two selection places and only have room under the hard cap to sign one veteran and one rookie.

Mohamed Diawara, a second round pick this year, is the only Rookie on the Roster. But the Knicks have several veterans for non -goded deals on their way to the training camp, in particular Malcolm Brogdon and Landry Shamet.

As the post reported, Brogdon is expected to make the last selection and the Knicks will probably use an exchange to create cap space to retain a second veteran, with Shamet as a target, but Garrison Mathews and Alex Len are also candidates.

Around the competition, Pacôme Dadite and Miles McBride generate the most buzz as players who could exchange the knicks.

The Knicks do not have to complete the schedule until the start of the regular season at the end of October.

Josh Hart wore a splint on the wounded ring finger on his shooting hand during the training Wednesday.

He said that he recently worsened the surgically repaired figure and will have to navigate the season with discomfort.

The 30-year-old said he is planning to wait for the low season to repair the damage, which originally took place during the play-offs in May.

Hart was a starter for the entire last season – at least to the play -offs – but could go to the couch. On Wednesday, Hart wore the white sweater of the reserves while Mitchell Robinson was wearing Starter Blauw. Brown, who has not yet settled on the fifth starter, said that meant nothing.
