A lot to cover, but let’s start with the good news.
De Braves achieved their ninth victory in a row … A great run, but unfortunately timing was eliminated after missing play -off position for the first time since 2017.
The victory was not exactly beautiful, as you could see from the updates, Ozzie Albies broke the Hamate -Bot in his left hand after polluting a throw in the third inning. Nick Allen was able to dive into and take his place in second place, but Albies will be tested immediately, but will probably not return for the rest of the season, including five more games.
Before we reach the position of players and the excellent attack, let’s look at pitching.
Chris Sale stood up four earned points due to five innings, three hit-by-pitches and 80 total throws.
Not the best performance for the former Cy Young winner, luckily the attack could support him.
Ronald Acuña Jr. it started with one Homer In the first inning, the scoreboard with Washington (1-1) ties.
From that moment on the attack decided to maintain it when Michael Harris II came in the second an RBI doublel to bring in Ha-Song Kim. Both of the two showed the performance of Elite level during the night, including for defense.
Drake Baldwin appeared as usual in the third and delivered an RBI single to introduce Acuña and Albies for their runs (4-1). Marcell Ozuna also immediately hit an RBI single to bring Kim for a four-run lead.
Harris followed with, another RBI-Single, a walk from Ozuna later (still in the third inning) extended the management by six (7-1) just before the injury delay with albies. Harris would also collect a total of three stolen bases during the game.
Six pitching switches later, the Nationals would later score four runs in the game, but were held there while the Bat-Happy Braves held the party in the homestand, with a solid defense to match it to win the victory (11-5).
Although Matt Olson had the hottest bat in the team during this run, was tonight when the break struck when he went O-For-6 in his plate performances for the night. Not the best prospects, however, because of his recent versions, and the general result of tonight’s results … the blow is not that hard.
Now beat on wood, but can the Braves make a perfect 10 of it?
