Last week one of the worst weeks the Atlanta Braves had had so far, which really says something that has been terrible this season in general for Atlanta. Yet these guys still give it everything and try to get better and that includes Michael Harris II. Although the rest of the team had a number of intense struggles, Harris was impressive last week and his performance was impressive enough to where he was named NL Player of the Week last week.

Harris ended the week with four multi-hit matches in six games last week, including the huge game he had in Texas on Saturday evening. That was when Harris went off four hits – one was a homer, one was a triple and two were double. Although it is not something you should expect from a player, it was certainly a feast for painful eyes, considering how rough a Harris season had here in 2025. It served as a memory that he is still as talented as we all thought he could be.
Although NL Player of the Week may not be as prestigious as our legendary battery Power Player of the Week Award, I am sure that Harris will be happy with his performance last week. I hope he can keep at least some of that form of that form for the rest of the season. The fans need something to cheer about and boys such as Michael Harris II do their bit to ensure that this team is worth watching.
