MG Majestor: MG’s longest, widest and tallest SUV to be launched in India next week

MG Motor India will unveil its new flagship SUV, the MG Majestor, in India on February 12, 2026. First showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo, the Majestor will sit at the top of MG’s Indian line-up and marks the brand’s entry into the premium D+ SUV segment. Positioned as MG’s largest ever SUV in India – the longest, widest and tallest – the Majestor will go up against established rivals such as the Toyota Fortuner Legender. Ahead of the launch, MG today released a teaser of the car with the caption: “You’ll know it when you see it. Prepare for dominance on February 12.”

Design and exterior highlights

While the design elements have not yet been fully revealed, the teaser hints at a bold and upright stance with a commanding road presence. According to reports, it could feature a large Matrix-style grille, Falcon-inspired LED daytime running lights paired with split headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels with flared wheel arches, a full-width LED light bar at the rear with pixelated detailing, and a chunky rear bumper with a silver skid plate and prominent Your Majesty badges.

Interior and features (expected)

MG hasn’t revealed the Majestor’s interior either, but reports say it will feature dual-tone upholstery, fully digital instrument cluster, large free-standing infotainment touchscreen, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, three-zone automatic climate control, electric front seats with ventilation and heating, including full LED lighting as standard. These features align the Majestor with the expectations of buyers in the premium SUV category.

Motorcycle and off-road capabilities

Under the hood, the MG Majestor is likely to be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, which produces up to 218 hp and 480 Nm of torque. The SUV is also expected to offer:

• 2WD, 4WD and low range 4WD options
• Differential locks with special controls

This setup hints at strong on-road performance and serious off-road capability.
