Prepare your devil horns – Metallica storms the next summer in London with two huge shows in London Stadium, and if you think you will hear Sandman on both nights, think carefully again.
This is no ordinary world tour. This is the M72 era of Metallica, which promises bigger, louder and absolutely not to rumble with repeated playlists.
For the Non -Intagen, the M72 World Tour started in 2023 to support the 11th Studio -Album 72 seasons of the band. Since then, the Metal Juggernaut has hit Stadiums around the world. They have hit the Download Festival of Castle Donington, but 2026 marks their full return to British soil and London gets the royal treatment.
Friday July 3 and Sunday, July 5, London Stadium, the capital of the capital for performances on an epic scale will fluctuate equally with pyrotechnics, sweat, noise and nostalgia.
And the best little? Thanks to their no repeated weekend format, the set lists over both nights will differ completely – as in, zero repeats. One night can open with master or puppets, the next with fuel. Even the support acts change. In short, if you only go there, you miss half the show.
Support slots are stacked. On the night you get Gojira and beat and brings the heat. Then it is two Pantera and Avatar on night. So yes, the metal gods offer you a fully composed mini-festival atmosphere every night.
Two-day tickets go live on Friday 30 May at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster, with Single-Day tickets that follow on July 25. If you hope to touch both shows, the two-day pass is your golden ticket for the full Metallica experience.

These are not your average performance prices. Standing tickets for both nights start at £ 190, but if you have ever tried to book Taylor Swift, you know that this is practically reasonable in this economy.
Metallica Superfans already had their shot on 27 May through a fan sale. Then O2 Priority came on 28 May and Live Nation Presale on 29 May. But if you missed it, don’t panic as a general sale where it is.
There is also a whole series of VIP ‘Enhanced Experience’ packages, ranging from £ 395 to £ 2,795. At the top layer? A meet and greet with the band, prime viewing areas and free drinks.

Ticketmaster dropped the official sitting card and let’s say it is as huge as you would expect. The stage takes an arrangement of 360 degrees, Smack Bang in the middle of the stadium, so everyone gets a decent view, even those on the cheap seats. However, this is Metallica. There are no “cheap” seats.
Expect that resale will be wild. Stub And the usual suspects will buzz the second sold -out general tickets. But beware of the Markup – resale prices can rise faster than a Kirk Hammett guitar solo.
In addition to London, Metallica Glasgow, Cardiff, Dublin and a series of other European cities will hit, from Athens to Berlin. But London’s double invoice is where it really goes down and where you want to be.
