Megan Thee Stallion took part in Monday’s Knicks-Mavericks game, but the “Savage” rapper wasn’t exactly in favor of the home team.
At the end of Dallas’ 114-97 blowout of the Knicks, she celebrated with an on-court hug for friend Klay Thompson, who scored 14 points in the Mavs’ big win.
It was a rare outing for the 30-year-old three-time Grammy winner, who told People this week that she “completes act three, and the music drops this year.”
She may have found a new muse in Thompson, the 35-year-old NBA veteran and four-time champion with the Warriors.
“I feel like, you know, I’m in a feminine era of my life right now, you know? But I’m not saying I’m in a feminine era of my life because of a man,” she says. said on “The Jennifer Hudson Show in October. “I say this because I’ve been through so much, you know, and I feel like for a long time I’ve always been on the defensive, and I feel like, ‘Oh my god, I have to fight for myself’… But right now I feel like, you know what? I’m so sure of myself and I’m so relaxed, I’m a very soft girl, like I’m a woman. I’m feminine.”
“I just feel like at this point in life I’m just a little bit more calm and relaxed, more zen and more accepting of love. Like I’m receiving love a lot better than I ever have before, and that’s probably why the guy I have now came into my life, because I was ready to have him,” she said, adding, “I still do hot girl things. But I love him.”
The two have been official since July 2025 — which she debuted by posting bikini photos poolside alongside Thompson.
They’ve apparently taken big steps together, suggesting they’ve moved in together in a photo posted in October, which shows hands making a heart and holding a house key.
In a recent video taken at a Dunkin drive-through, Megan Thee Stallion asked Thompson, “Are you a proud friend?”
“Very proud,” he responded with a smile.
Thompson wasn’t the only one to get some of Megan Thee Stallion’s love on Monday — a packed line of celebrities including actor and comedian Tracy Morgan and Giants quarterback Russell Wilson shared hugs and hello’s with the singer.
