Tell us a bit about yourself …
I have worked with conscious breathing in the last 10 years. I have a passion for working with children and young adults. Although my first training and career was as a journalist and in business communication, I diversified to human-oriented work and I am a qualified neuro-language programming coach and meaning-oriented counseling that work with the framework of logotherapy.
What does a typical day look like for you?
My day is a joyful diversity for the laptop that Breathwork Africa Running Africa, meetings, one-on-one sessions, breathing in business institutions and walking group sessions. In between everything I try to walk and a cycle in and enjoy meeting friends for connection.
How did your Mindfulness/breathing trip start and what inspired you to become a practitioner?
I met Dr. Manga in 2014 when I left the business world and fought with fatigue. She introduced me to breathe and I felt the deep relaxation that if I offered and I wanted to share that with others.
What inspired you to specialize in conscious breathing?
I really believe in the mental and physical health benefits of conscious breathing, after I have experienced it myself and wanted others to benefit from this gift that we always have with us.
How have you seen your practice that benefit your practitioners?
Absolutely – in many ways – of more energy, better health, who are otherwise concerned with life, connecting with themselves and others.
