Former English Allrounder Meeen Ali and White-Ball specialist Adil Rashid recently shared their choices for the FAB Four of the next generation, and both include two Indian batters, Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Former New -Zeelandse Slagman Martin Crowe introduced the concept of the ‘Fab Four’ in 2014 and mentioned the sparkle of Virat Kohli, Steven Smith, Joe Root and Kane Williamson. For years these players not only dominated battle graphs, but also wore the hope of their respective nations.
With their career in Twilight, fans and experts started speculating about the next set of players who can replicate such influence. Ali and Rashid recently opened the debate and have chosen their choices not only for figures, but also talent, temperament and future potential. Both Meeen and Rashid were unanimous in their selection of Harry Brook (England), Shubman Gill (India) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (India) and three members of the next Fab Four.

In the meantime, Rashid Jacob Bethell, a 21-year-old English all-rounder who has already shown moments of sparkle with both bat and ball in limited opportunities.
“Brook, Gill, Jaiswal … I would Bethell. In the next five or six years he will be there,” said Rashid.

Meeen Ali Koos Rachin Ravindra van Nieuw -Zeeland, who made an impression during the ODI World Cup 2023 and has already scored more than 1200 tests. Moeen emphasized the adaptability of Ravindra for the circumstances and said that he “has the technology and hunger to succeed everywhere.”
