Westlake, California
McClintock is the Sector BPI portfolio under review this morning. Last Friday, the information technology sector fell into the oversold zone, so yesterday I bought VGT shares. Of all sectors, technology is the most volatile and therefore holds the highest percentage of the portfolio when recommended for inclusion in the portfolio. Please note that the recommended percentages are based on three years of average volatility.
McClintock Sector Holdings
Below are the current holdings in the McClintock. Note that VOX is 4.5% below target. This is probably due to price changes. Although the communications services sector is not oversold, I have placed a limit order to buy more VOX shares. The order is a few percentage points below the current price, as the sector is not giving a buy signal.

McClintock performance data
As of 12/31/2021, the McClintock has outperformed the AOR benchmark, but none of the other benchmarks tracked using the commercial Investment Account Manager (IAM) program.

McClintock Risk Ratios
All risk figures are above the level of last February, with the exception of the information ratio.
The strong positive slope of the Jensen Performance Index is quite encouraging.

BPI performance by sector since McClintock launched
Readers may be interested in how well the Sector BPI investment model works. The following performance data is for the period in which I applied the Sector BPI principles. Readers can see that the BPI model outperforms all six benchmarks tracked. This data bodes well for the Sector BPI investment model.
