Barber will be confronted opposite Karine Silva on December 6 in a flight weight with three rounds at UFC 323, probably in Las Vegas.
De Vechtnerds Team shared the news from Barber vs. Silva in a social media post on Tuesday.
Barber returns to the cage in the midst of a six-fighter-winning series, including recent victories on former title challengeers Jessica Eye and Katlyn Cerminara. She also defeated the will of Amanda Ribas and Andrea Lee during her current line.
Silva returns after a unanimous decision victory at Dione Barbosa on UFC 319 last month. She bounced back from her first UFC defeat to Viviane Araujo on UFC 309 last November.
Before the Araujo fight, Silva collected a winning streak with nine fights and earned a UFC contract via Dana White’s Contender Series in 2021.
At the moment the UFC 323 head event has not been announced and the full line -up is expected to be made public in the coming weeks. The card will be the last UFC-PAY-PER-View broadcast on ESPN before the promotion makes its full-time switch to Paramount in January.
