Unbreakable X-Men join the battle
The latest trailer dropped a huge reveal for the roster. It introduced the “Unbreakable X-Men” team. While Storm appeared in previous teasers, she now has backup. Wolverine, Magik and Danger join the battle.

Danger is a notable addition. This character first appeared in 2005’s Astonishing X-Men and is the physical manifestation of the X-Mansion’s Danger Room. The trailer showed its origins in Shia technology. Additionally, a stylish ultimate team attack was highlighted with all four mutants.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Story Mode and “Episode Mode”
Arc System Works and Marvel Games combine American comics with Japanese manga for the story. An accompanying blog post describes the new “Episode Mode”. This single-player experience delves deep into the game’s different teams.
Celebrated artists illustrate the motion comics, while a “renowned writer from the original Marvel comics” wrote the script. The story teaser is grim. It shows the apparent deaths of Gladiator and Deathbird on the Shi’ar homeworld, followed by a purple storm cloud enveloping the Earth.
Pre-order bonuses and editions
Pre-orders open on February 19, 2026. Early buyers will receive lobby cosmetics immediately. These include an Infinity Gauntlet, a Baby Groot lobby pet and a rideable Cosmic Surfboard.
Players can choose from two special editions:
- Digital Deluxe Edition ($84.99): Includes the Year One Pass (4 characters, 1 level), a Howard the Duck avatar and a Cosmo lobby animal.
- Ultimate Edition ($99.99): Includes all Deluxe content plus five bonus costumes.
