Russell Martin is enthusiastic to start with Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.
Martin was head coach at Rangers this summer for a three -year -old deal and took some free time after his struggles in Southampton and will be confronted opposite Motherwell on Saturday.
The 39-year-old started well at the club and defeated the Greek club Panathinaikos 3-1 over two legs to move a step closer to the main table of the Champions League.
Rangers have also been active in the transfer market and recently lent Mikey Moore on loan from Tottenham as their eighth arrival.
Martin enjoys the chance to win the competition with Rangers, which he thinks will determine the success of his first season.
“To endure such a heavy draw [against Panathinaikos]More than two legs, was really pleasant, “Martin told Sky Sports News.
“We have done really good things in it, some things that we really have to improve. I think that’s the most exciting bit.
“There has been so much change and we navigate a lot of change in this football club, everyone is, and the staff and the players are doing really well.
Russell Martin says that his Rangers team is ready for their Premiership Curtain Raiser.

“That is not always easy to manage, so we try to win while building and development. We have so much to work on and go so much in terms of performance and what we look like.
“We had five weeks that have been hectic with the preseason and then two massive competitions to prepare and now we have to concentrate everything on this, because this is what you are being assessed for, the success of a season.
“We have to try to start as well as possible.”
