Leicester has confirmed Marti Cifuentes as their new manager.
Cifuentes replaces Ruud van Nistorrooy, who left the King Power Stadium after seven months after the relegation of the Foxes to the championship.
The 43-year-old was Queen’s Park Rangers at fellow two-two club, but at the end of June after he was put on gardening with conversations with West Bromwich Albion on their head coach vacancy. Cifutentes did not get the job, with Ryan Mason taking over instead.
Cifuentes has signed a two -year deal in the King Power Stadium, with the option of another year. The Leicester championship season starts on 10 August with a home game against Sheffield on Wednesday.
