Market WRAP: SENSEX rises 746 points higher, handy above 24,550 in the middle of fresh foreign fund entry

Benchmark BSE SENSEX collected 746 points to close above 80,000 Mark on Monday after purchasing oil, car and bank shares in the middle of the inflow of new foreign funds.

The 30 shares Sesex jumped 746.29 points or 0.93 percent to settle at 80,604,08 with 26 of his voters who ended up higher. During the day it rose 778.26 points or 0.97 percent to 80,636.05.


The NSE Nifty with 50 shares jumped with 221.75 points or 0.91 percent to 24,585.05.

“The market saw a hereopy after a lowest point of 3 months; a positive worldwide Cue and a gradual return from FIIs supported sentiment. Investors will assess the upcoming US-Russia top, which may be found, the upcoming US-Russia, which may be amended, the Multiple Assessment of the Trade Investment Ltd, said.

Among Sensex companies, Tata Motors, Eternal, Trent, State Bank of India, Ultratech Cement and Larsen & Toubro were the most important win.


Bharat Electronics, Bharti Airtel and Maruti, however, were the laggaarden left behind. The BSE Midcap meter, however, climbed 0.79 percent and the SmallCap index rose by 0.35 percent. The majority of the BSE sectoral indices ended higher. Realty rose the most by 1.86 percent, followed by Bankex (1.13 percent), health care (1.12 percent), car (1.03 percent), financial services (1 percent), utilities (0.92 percent), services (0.90 percent) and power (0.85 percent).

“Markets started the week on a cheerful note, won almost a percent and made it after the recent decrease. The tone was positive from the start and was further strengthened in the second half, supported by a noticeable recovery in heavyweights in sectors,” said Religare SVP, research, research, Ajit Mishra.

No fewer than 2,237 shares went up, while 1,930 fell and 170 remained unchanged on the BSE.

In Asian markets, the SSE Composite Index of Shanghai and Hang Seng van Hong Kong established itself in a positive area, while Kospi ended in South Korea marginal lower. Markets in Japan were closed due to a vacation.

European markets usually acted lower. The American markets finished higher on Friday.

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) bought shares worth RS 1,932.81 Crore on Friday, according to exchange data.

Worldwide oil benchmark Brent crude oil dropped 0.45 percent to USD 66.29 a barrel.

On Friday, the Sesex refueled 765.47 points or 0.95 percent to settle at 79,857.79. The Nifty fell 232.85 points or 0.95 percent to 24,363.30.
