Entries are open for the 2025/26 Mark Bates Ltd U10-13 National Championships.
The competition will take place the weekend of April 18-19 at the Kettering Arena. On Saturday there will be the Under 11 and Under 13 categories and on Sunday the Under 10 and Under 12 events.
It is an open competition and all young players within these age groups who meet the criteria can participate and do not need to be invited.
There will be singles competitions for boys and girls in all four age groups, plus boys and girls doubles for U12 and U13.
Players can only compete in one age group singles each day, plus doubles.
Registrations open on Thursday, January 29 at 12:00 noon and the deadline is Wednesday, March 25 at 11:59 PM.
Entries will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with the exception of the protected areas below (provided that entries are received on time):
- Players in the Top 16 (Singles) in the specific age groups on the rankings 24/07
- Players in the Top 8 (doubles) in the specific age groups on the rankings 24/07
Doubles events are limited to 24 pairs per category. All eligible players can participate in doubles events.
All singles events have a minimum guaranteed capacity:
- The U10 and U11 events have a guaranteed minimum capacity of 24 players
- The U12 and U13 events have a guaranteed minimum capacity of 48 players
Should registrations exceed these minimum capacities, the final number of participants will be determined by the referee, depending on capacity.
The criteria that players must meet are:
- Have played at least one Local Open Tournament (1* event) or higher in the same season. This also includes the Cadet British Clubs League.
- To be a current Compete or Compete Plus member of Table Tennis England (if player is a Compete member, you will need to upgrade to Compete Plus or purchase a one-off tournament top-up membership). Compete Plus membership is free for all U11s.
- Have indicated ‘England’ as their nationality in their membership profile
