Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nunku will not be part of the Chelsea team to stand against West Ham on Friday evening.
Jackson and Nunku are expected to leave Chelsea before the Deadline of 1 September with both exploratory movements. The first is available on Friday after the suspension, but does not play a part in the London Stadium.
The Senegal International would like to leave Chelsea after the summer signs of the club of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro. Colleague attacker Nunku is currently in conversation with former Side RB Leipzig during a return to Germany.
“He (Jackson) is available, but he is not going to be part of Squad tomorrow,” Maresca said at his press conference for the competition.
“We have two strikers and we also know that something can happen before the transfer window closes.
“Christopher is with us, like Nico, but it’s the same answer as Nico. The other two players [Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson] Training apart.
“We still have two weeks. No idea [whether they will still be at Chelsea] Because it is difficult to plan because everything can happen. “
