Marcus Rashford Savaged by Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt – Man United News and Transfer News | The people person

Former Manchester United -midfielder Paul Scholes has spoken to Borrow Marcus Rashford.

Two years of restless

The 2022/2023 season saw an incredible Marcus Rashford that scored 30 goals in all competitions under Erik ten Hag.

The 2023/2024 season, however, saw a huge decrease in production and form. Moreover, he had problems outside the field, such as a drinking bug in Belfast.

He dropped out last year with Ruben Amorim and was lent to Aston Villa before he received a temporary move to FC Barcelona in the summer.

Positive start

The Englishman had a quiet start of life in Catalonia, but he burst into life with two goals in the Champions League versus Newcastle United and two assists in his last two La Liga matches.

United gave up

Former United -midfielder Paul Scholes, however, is not best satisfied with the attacker and he gave his reasons about the good, the bad and the football podcast.

In the show he stated: “I have trouble feeling happy for him, especially because of his attitude. His attitude towards the end, especially against Manchester United, I thought shameful.”

“The number of times I saw him at Man United, such as walking, because he wants to leave. I thought his whole attitude was a shame about him. I think he actually stopped with Manchester United. Once you stopped, you stop again.”

Then the former pros expressed the news that Rashford was falling on the bank versus Getafe because he was too late for a training session in preparation for the competition.

“He was late last night, he won’t get away with that in Barcelona for long. There is absolutely no chance.”

Time to grow up

Fellow united star Nicky Butt was also in the show and he stated: “He must be aware, self-conscious, he is no longer a baby, he is 27. He must be self-aware of the things he does and how he projects himself.

Butt claimed that “he has that talent where he could still be one of the best players in the world.” Nevertheless, Scholes finally came up with the destructive remark: “However, he will never have the mentality.”
