Dayton Pa -The Pennsylvania Fair Harness Racing Circuit raced two days on Wednesday and Thursday in the exhibition site in this town 60 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, where the themes of the stand were many repeated winners and two-year-olds at the level of two-year-olds who often improve the clocks of their “A” counterparties.
The two-year-olds racing on Wednesday and three of the traditional four sections saw a faster clock posted in the stakes at the lower level. The fastest of all Dayton -first -year was the Long dark stranger -Viva La deo Ruin Venom Hanover, who broke his girl in 2: 05.3 (to be honest, so to speak, he showed a 1: 56.3 qualifying victory at Pocono) for Trainer-Driver Todd Schadel, also co-owner of Jim Simpson, Timothy Hayes and Dr. Megan Mechat. The “A” winner a race earlier was Quill Gordon (a stay Hunger-Pueblo Blue Chip Welding) whose victory was his third consecutive victory and celebrated “A” triumph in general, who tied him for top among all fair babies at a higher level.
The other four -time “A” -winning first -year student is the Always B Miki -Zane Hanover Miss Beachy’s Mistress, but she quickly took a backseat to the 2:07 Mile of four-time “B” winner Dark Sky (Tall Dark Stranger-Firestorm), co-owner of trainer-director Todd Schadel in collaboration with wife Christine and Caitlin Solt. The other faster winner in the “B” promotion was also a production of Todd Schadel, the Greenshoe – Dominica called the Rizzler, who had posted two “A” victories before a decline brought him to the lower level, where he was rejuvenated, and he took the fastest juvenile trot of 2:08.
The only “A” two -year -old who was also the fastest was the Cantab Hall -Bwt Maija Miss Sueetta, who has now won three-in-one-row in “A” s for trainer-driver Steve Schoeffel.
During Thursday’s three -year racing, the “A” group recovered the normal speed, and Eric Neal was the driving force with six successful sulkysittings. Neal was the pilot of the Tom Loughry Jr. -Stagee Skepticism, a daughter of Long dark stranger Who had the fastest mile in Honsdale and here won in 2:00 for the fastest clocks of the Dayton stand for owner Geraldine Poerio.
The winning horse of all at the stock markets is the Captain Crunch Colt Bettor not, now undefeated in eight starts about the Twicearounds after a victory for Trainer-Driver Todd Schadel, co-owner with wife Christine.
The fastest trot of the meeting was the 2: 05.2 victory of the Barhopping Welding laid the bar, a five -fold “A” winner and author of the Fair Year’s Fastest Prot (1: 58.4 in Hughsville). Another charge against trainer-director damage, he is owned by Todd and his wife Christine together with Rick and Regina Beinhauer.
The International Moni Filly Tally The tab, trained and powered by Todd Schadel, won her sixth “a” bell in the Gitschaux of the day, but ironically she was one second -year second -year student whose time was improved by a “B” winner. The Neal / Loughry connection struck again with the Greenshoe Miss RT Paint It Black, owned by Lone Wolf Stable, whose 2: 05.4 miles a tick was better than the tabs.
The thunderous Thursday of Eric Neal of a Sulky Success, including victories in the last two races of the meeting, was able to take Dayton -with seven sulky scores to Todd damage Six; Daadel’s six training victories gave him the crown in that category.
Thursday was the only day of the year on the Keystone Fair circuit where two tracks race in one day; A meeting in Meyersdale in Somerset County, 110 miles almost south of Dayton, saw two -year -olds set up a speed show. A full report on the Meyersdale promotion will be sent after the three -year -olds who race there on Friday. For more information, see https://www.pafairsracing.org.
