According to The independentManchester United has opened conversations with Chelsea about a potential Swap deal to sign Nicolas Jackson this summer.

The Red Devils have already strengthened their attacking department with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo and are now aimed at landing a tent in the middle of the tent.

Jackson is one of the top names on their radar, but The independent claim that a deal seems unlikely to the cards because of the enormous demands of Chelsea for the Senegalese star.

United is open to Garnacho in a Swap deal for Jackson, but there is a huge difference in the price valuations.

Chelsea wants at least £ 80 million to give up their striker, while they are reluctant to pay more than £ 30 million to sign Garnacho of the Mancunian giants.

Unlikely deal

In the past two seasons, Jackson has been an important player for the blues with 17 and 13 goals respectively. He is also chipped with important assists, but his future is uncertain prior to the new campaign.

The blues recently signed Liam Delap and Joao Pedro to strengthen the Center-Forward position and can say goodbye to Jackson in the coming weeks to secure money for late expenses.

United has shown interest in signing him in exchange for Garnacho, but the blues valuation can make a plug for each deal. It is unlikely that the Red Devils will punish the sale of Garnacho for almost £ 30 million everywhere.

Unlike Jadon Sancho, Garnacho is only 21 years old and has a huge potential. He does not fit in with the plans of manager Ruben Amorim, but still had an excellent campaign 2024/25 with 21 target contributions to his name.

United will probably hold a higher amount to consider his departure. In the meantime, United seems to have already distanced itself from Jackson from Jackson and give priority to the transfer of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.

The Slovenian AAS is appreciated in the area of £ 69-78 million. United could be willing to pay a premium compensation for the 22-year-old, given his enormous potential. He is a much better Finisher than Jackson and could evolve into a world -class striker in the coming years.
