A former star Manchester United says he used to leave the house because of spot over his appearance.
Luke Chadwick, who won the Premier League in 2001, says that the ‘abuse’ had him ‘helpless’ and was unable to bring it to everyone.
The graduated Academy played with David Beckham and Roy Keane, but that status did not hide him against his appearance.

‘I think it was away from the game that it influenced me more, and it was something that I became obsessed internally, and I didn’t like to leave the house because I would be just abused or teased about the way I looked when that would not actually be the case.
“My thoughts were vulnerable to be weak -” I can’t show any sign of weakness ” – while in reality our vulnerability is our greatest strength,” he says.

He is now the director of the Football Fun Factory and offers training and experiences for toddlers and children at more than 50 locations in the United Kingdom.
The midfielder from Cambridgeshire was scouted by United at the age of 14 and Sir Alex Ferguson called his mother to supplement the wheels of him who sign up.
He then made 39 performances for United before spending time at Royal Antwerp, Reading, Burnley, West Ham, Stoke, Norwich, Mk Dons and Cambridge United in a career that included all the top five Divisions of England.
