It’s Wednesday and that means the time has come again for the Ministry of Finance to announce the retail prices of fuels for the coming week of December 4 to 10, 2025.
The price of RON 95 non-subsidized petrol will increase by three sen to RM2.66 per liter from RM2.63 per liter last week, with the same increase for RON 97 petrol going to RM3.29 per liter next week.
RON 95 petrol, under the Budi Madani RON 95 (Budi95) scheme, remains unchanged at RM1.99 per litre. Malaysians with a valid driver’s license and eligible for the Budi Madani RON 95 (Budi95) program can still purchase RON 95 petrol at the subsidized rate of RM1.99 per liter, subject to a monthly quota of 300 litres.
Diesel fuels of the Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends will remain unchanged at RM3.08 per liter for the coming week, meaning prices for the Euro 5 B7 blend, at 20 sen more per litre, will also remain unchanged at RM3.28 per litre. The retail price of diesel fuel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
These prices are valid from midnight tonight until Wednesday, December 10, 2025, when the next set of fuel price updates will be announced. This is the 49th edition of the weekly fuel price format for this year, and the 360th in total since the format’s introduction in early 2019.
