• The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), a clearing and settlement organization established in the US, has recently mentioned a few applications for digital assets-treated funds.
• Although many considered the development as an almost guarantee that a SEC car inspection would follow quickly, ETF experts hurried to free up the air.

The suitability list of the organization recently added the spot ETF applications that would follow the performance of XRP, HBBB and SOL. More precisely, the ETFs in question are Fidelity’s (FSol), Canary’s (XRPC) and Canary’s (HBR).

The tickers and details are added to the DTCC system, with brokers, exchanges and market makers that they (or if) can process the ETFs, are approved by the SEC.

However, the list itself does not guarantee the green light from the American regulator. It is a necessary step that indicates that the ETF emissioners are preparing the funds to act, but the last word is still with the agency.

Nate Geraci, president of Novadius Wealth and co-founder of the ETF Institute, clarified that this development, although positive, did not move the needle in terms of actual approval. His statement was reflected by other ETF experts, such as Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart.

XRP leads in terms of most applications on the American SEC agency for spot ETFs. Although the committee has recently delayed a decision on another application, the total opportunities for an XRP ETF remain quite high this year, because polymarket data exhibit a 93% chance of a green light.

The chances of SOL on the popular website are still promising, because they have risen to almost 100% in recent weeks.
