In the women’s competition, SCHC was the first to secure a place in the final on Friday. The team of new coach Robbert van de Peppel defeated Tilburg 3-0 on Kampong’s main field, by goals from Yibbi Jansen, Elzemiek Zandee and Mete Winter.
Later in the evening Kampong Cup holder Pinoké eliminated. The final score was 3-1 in Utrecht, with goals from Sosha Benninga (two) and Eline Jansen for Kampong. On behalf of Pinoké, who reached the play -offs for the first time last year, Florine Rodenburg was productive.
The men of Oranje-Rood were too strong for Pinoké in the semi-final. Goals of high scoring Scottish striker Struan Walker and Borja Lacalle made the difference for the Eindhoven men, who can prepare for a final against Bloemendaal.
The Must Throwed away Rotterdam in the other semi -final with the smallest possible difference. German striker Elian Mazkour transferred from Rot-Weiss Köln, scored the winning goal (1-0). He has already scored this president five times for Bloemendaal.
The battle for the ABN AMRO Cup will be decided next Sunday in the Kampong complex.
