Jennifer Main, who recently at Northville Downs in Barry Expo Center in Hastings, Michigan, has beaten Race Three on Wednesday (October 1), driven home by fellow Ladyharness Race administrator Lauren Harmon to complete the all-lady Coureur Exacta, a first on the track.
Solar (Father Patrick -Jupiter), owned by Sally Wadsworth and trained and powered by Jennifer Main, went from coast to coast in the race. In the meantime, Lauren Harmon, who owns Emerald Chip/trains/steer (Chip Chip Hooray – Emerald Myway) and recently came on a more regular basis at the Northville driver, was fourth away but was shuffled to the sixth and the majority of the miles were locked up. When the field turned home, the head peaked over her shoulder and didn’t see anyone coming. When they came through the piece, Harmon shook loose and Emerald Chip stormed home late, so Main returned to see who would come. Main replied: “I didn’t know who shook loose because I saw no one last.
In addition to her recent driving success at The Hastings, Mi Oval, including two consecutive track records with two birds, Jennifer received a promotion of her ‘P’ (provisional) driver’s license to her ‘full’ driving license of the MGCB and USTA.
Also on the Wednesday program, driver Kody Massey had five row victories to lead all drivers in the day. Trainers Paul Cloer, JR, Kody Massey and Gerald Malady each had two wins on Wednesday.
Racing on Northville Downs in Barry Expo Center in Hastings, MI returns next Tuesday (October 7) and Wednesday (October 8) with a first post -time of 13:00 every day.
