Mahi Madhussunssu Kleephics was 1.12% in Emk Global Global Global 33.

Indian investor Mahi Madhusudan Kela acquired a 1.12% stake in Emkay Global Financial Services in the quarter ended December 31, 2025. The small-cap company, which is active in investment banking, asset management and portfolio management, also counts major investors such as Dolly Khanna and Sanjiv Dhireshbhai Shah among its shareholders.Kela’s 1.12% stake translates into nearly 2.9 lakh shares in the company. She is the wife of veteran investor Madhusudan Kela.

The purchase of the shares comes at a time when the share has been underperforming for a long time. Over the past three months, shares of Emkay Global Financial Services have fallen 14%, compared to a decline of around 3% in both the Nifty and BSE Sensex. The one-year return has also fallen to approximately 3%.Despite the recent weakness, the multibagger stock — up 283% in the last three years — is still trading above its 50-day and 200-day moving averages of Rs 281 and Rs 256, respectively, according to Trendlyne data.

However, the current weakness also comes with increased volatility, with Emkay Global’s one-year beta sitting at 1.2, according to Trendlyne. Beta measures a stock’s sensitivity to market movements, and a value above 1 indicates above-average volatility.

While the company is yet to announce its Q3 2026 earnings, the July-September (Q2FY26) quarter was weak with consolidated net profit down 98% year-on-year from Rs 26 crore in the same period last year to Rs 0.5 crore in the said quarter. Total revenue fell 33% to Rs 77 crore, compared to Rs 115 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal. The current market capitalization of Emkay Global Financial Services is around Rs 725 crore on the BSE.

The stock closed 1.6% lower on the BSE at Rs 282.75 on Friday.
