This package was filled with… no, not Willie Mays…

Dustin May.
Much necessary parallel action is needed. Now that May is on his third team in three years, it’s safe to say he won’t be the future star his prospect cards promise. I could have told Johnny that a while ago (and gotten my tickets sooner!). May just couldn’t put it all together – or stay away from killer salads.

Mmmmmmmmm. They hit the spot. Very nice of John to send them.

There was also a Max Muncy straggler from the last pack. This is the holiday base parallel for Series 2, which was different from the holiday base parallel of Series 1. Consistency is what I strive for here in my year-to-year collection of sets, which I think Topps says is no longer a thing. I can’t wait for the flagship set where each base card has a different design.

Another M-man in Raul Mondesi. I think these lower postage buybacks, like Bowman’s, are the next cards to leave the Dodgers folders for a box.

However, more Dodger doesn’t need a Mrs. and it doesn’t need the biggest names. I appreciate the Andy Pages and the Heritage Red Kopech, but I’m still not over collecting those parallels.

Here’s a welcome need from last year. There’s still a long way to go with these 1990 All-Stars, especially since there are two different flavors.

And some new World Series hero cards!

Here’s a card that makes me super happy. This was the final team set need for the 2022 Chrome Update set. There’s nothing like finally landing a card of a player who has been removed from the team on the card for three years.
John sent over a few other needs – a few current bills and even more 2025 Bowman Dodgers prospects – but for the big close I’ll focus on something I’ve always loved. It’s not an M word, but all you have to do is turn that M upside down.

Crazy packages! Originals too. In fact, the top three are from Series 1, and I have so few of those.
These will always make me smile. After all, I am a child of the 70’s. Not long ago, TCDB had a Wacky Packages sticker as its “Card of the Day”. One of the comments said that in terms of parodying non-sports cards, he thought he preferred Wacky Packages to Garbage Pail Kids. Agree, agree, agree.
That comment got a lot of likes. In fact, I liked it and I never do anything with that particular TCDB function.
Well, my, my, I think so Real time to update my Dodgers ties now. I think I can safely say that a third Johnny shipment will not arrive (or can I?).
