A Foothills house offers the ultimate lifestyle, a daring design and a feeling of privacy, even though it is close to everything you would like.
Damien Rinaldo and wife Adriana Marmino – owners of Norwood Salon Boris The Cuttery – sell the Beaumont house that they carefully built on 16a Caithness Ave.
They bought the block in 2016 and started creating a house inspired by Palm Springs with a turn that reflects their unique aesthetics and would endure the test of time.
“We wanted to feel far away, but still very close to the city and the parade,” says Mrs. Marmino.

“We can’t really see neighbors where we are.
“We have kangaroos and so much nature around us, but we are only six minutes from work, so we are still in the city – you don’t get that anywhere else in Australia.
“We really loved those palm springs, Beverly Hills’s kind – really cool, lots of concrete, just a difficult atmosphere.
“We had the dream of having it all open and having a swimming pool with a view, and we achieved that by putting the swimming pool on the roof, and it is the perfect place to take the sunsets over the city.
“Black is our favorite color, but you can’t just bring in black, you have to bring warmth at the same time, so we have French oak floor plates, carpet, the sunken lounge and a little color, but the palette is very simple.
“It is seven years later when we designed it and it still looks like it was built yesterday and still feels brand new.”
The house offers approximately 518m² of indoor and outdoor living space over its two levels. Downstairs you will effectively find a standing house with three bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom, a wine room and a garage for four cars.

Upstairs is the open kitchen, the dining room and the living room, the Master Suite with a walk-through robe to an ensuite; And the terrace of an outdoor tentainer overlooking a sparkling swimming pool.
“It’s a great entertainer – our Christmas days can be quite epic and we have had around 70 people here because you can spill out so easily from the inside out,” says Marmino.
Now moving to their next project in the Adelaide Hills, Mrs. Marmino says that her family will miss the beautiful house that they have created with love and care.
“It was incredible for our family and the location is great,” she says.
“Burnside Village is in the neighborhood, so you have everything within reach and we are zoned for some of the best schools in the state, Linden Park Primary and Glenunga International High School.
“Another family would be incredibly happy here.”
The house is sold without a price guide.
