Lokesh will be embarking on a six-day tour to Australia from October 19

Andhra Pradesh Minister for HRD, IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh will be on a six-day official visit to Australia from October 19 to 24 as part of the Special Visits Program (SVP) on the invitation of the Australian government.

The visit aims to study advanced educational methodologies, strengthen educational and industrial collaborations and promote the upcoming CII Partnership Summit 2025, which will be held in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15.

According to an official press release on Saturday, Australian High Commissioner to India Philip Green extended the invitation and appreciated Andhra Pradesh’s leadership in human resources, technology and economic development.

Mr Lokesh’s itinerary includes visits to leading institutions such as the University of New South Wales, Western Sydney University, Griffith University and University of Melbourne to explore modern pedagogical models and technology-driven learning.

He will also hold meetings with the Australian Ministers for Skills, Innovation and Economic Growth, as well as representatives from the Business Council of Australia and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission.

Mr Lokesh will participate in roadshows to be organized by the Australia India Business Council (AIBC) in Sydney and Melbourne to attract global participation in the Visakhapatnam Summit. His visit will also include discussions on cooperation in sports infrastructure, trade and skills development.
