Liver King has had one of the stranger digital footprints within the internet’s manosphere in recent years, and a strange legal issue involving Joe Rogan has finally been resolved.

Brian Johnson, the government name of the king of the liver, had the charges dismissed due to a case dating back to June. In the said case, the online personality infamously made threats towards Joe Rogan, escalating the situation.

The Travis County Criminal Court confirmed these details regarding the situation between Johnson and Rogan MMA fightingwhich initially followed some strange videos online. These were videos where Johnson continued to provoke the UFC color commentator into some sort of physical altercation.

Some parties began to worry when Liver King actually made the trek to Austin, Texas, Rogan’s hometown. Security staff from the widely distributed podcast host contacted local police as this was all happening. After the footage was reviewed by assigned officers, it was believed that a mental health episode occurred where Johnson could potentially pose a danger.

Rogan interpreted the behavior at the time as threatening in nature, and the former Fear Factor host was unsure why he was targeted by Liver King, as the two had had no previous contact with each other.

Liver King was arrested on a charge of a crime related to terrorist threats, where he was released on a $20,000 bond and given a 200-foot restraining order from Joe Rogan, Rogan’s family, or homes or businesses associated with Rogan’s family. Later court records, which became available online, indicated that charges in the case were dismissed.

The dismissed charges became immediately available to the public on Thursday, with the litigious saga between Liver King and Joe Rogan now being put to rest.
