About 30,000 athletes will participate in the 129th Boston Marathon during the day on Monday, including residents of 128 countries and all 50 American states. By helping them from Hopkinton to the finish line at Boylston Street in Boston, more than 9,500 volunteers will be.
Athletes can expect a cool start of the day, but the temperatures will climb to around 60 degrees in the mid -afternoon. This can be a bit tempered by a cool breeze, but there is no chance of rain and Monday will be a great day to participate in or view the race.
