Leah Williamson admitted that England was “not good enough” because they lost their euro cheaper against France. The lion ribbons could not recover after twice in rapid succession at the end of the first half when Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Sandy Baltimore used a weak defense, and the late goal of Keira Walsh was not enough to create a dramatic comeback. “We lost the game [with] Poor defending one V one, “said Captain Williamson.” We learned from those errors in honesty.

It was perhaps a different story if England had not suffered a marginal offside call at 0-0, where Beth Mead struck in the structure to a non-access goal of Alessia Russo.
At the end there was even hope, in which manager Sarina Wiegman gambled by throwing an extra attacker and causing panic in the French defense, but the damage was done much earlier.
Williamson’s Center-back partner Alex Greenwood saw the non-accessible Russo target as a turning point after a clear start for the holders. “To be honest, I thought we started the game really well,” said Greenwood.
“The first 10-15 minutes I thought we put them on the back foot and after the VAR target we just lost a little Disappointing. Another defeat for England on Wednesday would end their euro -challenging early, so that France runs the defeat against Underdogs Wales on the same day. Wiegman knows very well that there is no mistake margin and her team will now have to perform under extreme pressure.
“I think we can do better. We know that France is really good, but we caused our own problems. We could have scored in the first minute. We could have made it easier,” said Wiegman, referring to an early effort by Lauren James that flew over the bar.
“We have to get up and tomorrow we will revise and restore and continue to continue to the Netherlands on Wednesday. We will have recovery and talk to each other and continue.”
