NBC “Meet the Press” -Gastheer Kristen Welker asked Senator Lindsey Graham, RS.C., if he tried to “deduce from the Epstein issue” during a heated exchange on Sunday about Trump administration accusations that former President Obama may have committed the American information services to trump in the Russiaaatate.
“You try to wipe this stuff under the carpet, and that’s not right!” Said Graham.
The argument broke out about the recent allegations submitted by director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. Gabbard claimed that the declared information documents and a preliminary report from 2020 House Intelligence Committee have shown that in the decreasing days of the Obama government, the then President the American Intel agencies ordered their assessment of the attempts of Russiap to help choose the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections in the elections.
The DNI director said that the intelligence services had originally concluded that Russia was not trying to help Trump be chosen. Gabbard claimed that the agencies in fact had evidence that Putin expected Hillary Clinton to win the presidency. Gabbard claimed that this amounted to a ‘treacherous conspiracy’.

“The treacherous conspiracy that we have now released to the American people – the complicity, deflection and silence of politicians, of the regular media, and of those who are directly involved, speaks volumes,” Gabbard told Fox & Friends.
President Trump called on Obama and others to experience ‘very serious consequences’ for trying ‘to show the elections’. Obama gave a rare official response to Trump and shot the claims as “bizarre” and a “weak attempt at distraction”.
“The bizarre accusations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction. Nothing in the document issued last week undermines the generally accepted conclusion that Russia has worked on the influence of the 2016 presidential elections, but no votes manipulated,” he said. “These findings were confirmed in a report of 2020 by the Bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by the then chairman Marco Rubio,” said an Obama spokesperson.
Welker claimed that she had spoken with the Republican former CIA officer Susan Miller, who categorically denied the claims of Gabbard. The NBC anchor also pointed to a special counselor, John H. Durham, who, according to her, concluded in 2023 that there was no political interference in the Russiagate probe. She also played a clip from Graham herself and said in 2017 that the Russians were involved in the elections to embarrass Hillary Clinton.

“There is only one person in Washington that I know has the only doubt about what Russia has done in our election and President Trump is,” said Graham at the time.
The Senator of South Carolina replied that the Gabbard report contained information that had not been announced before and that the accusations justified a special investigation by the counselor.
“Well, what I say is that you left a lot here … The Mueller research was crooked and rotten to the core. The Washington Post and the New York Times received a Pulitzer prize for reporting on Trump’s campaign relationship with Russia. It was all BS,” said Graham.
Graham said he does not call that former President Obama is being prosecuted for betrayal, but said that a special counselor should investigate whether the former president ordered the intelligence report to change because he did not like the outcome. He regretted that so many lives were turned upside down by the Mueller research and accused Welker trying to wipe the findings of the administration ‘under the carpet’.
“For years and months and days and weeks, people had turned their lives upside down and chased the Mueller -story that Trump was in bed with the Russians, that the Trump campaign worked together with the Russian … You are trying to wipe this stuff under the carpet and that is not true,” he said.
