UFC Vegas 108 will continue to undergo changes in the last second.

A planned featherweight collision between Blue Chip Prospect Austin Bashi and Contenders series Veteran Francis Marshall was scratched after “Fire” Marshall had withdrawn. Filling in for Marshall is John Yannis (9-2), champion of the Fury FC promotion.

Yannis has won three consecutive fights via Knock -Out for his UFC debut. However, the chance is that at the age of 23 the Texan will be generally considered a first-class prospect. A slick wrestler and grappler, Bashi will be looking to return from the first loss of his professional career towards the prospect Hunter Christian Rodriguez.

It is a long task for Short-notice, but hopefully we will learn something about ‘Angel’ in the process.

Planned for this weekend (Sat., 2 August 2025), UFC Vegas 108 lost its main event on Monday morning when Amir Albazi was forced to withdraw from his planned collision opposite Tatsuro Taira. Fortunately, a replacement was found in undefeated Hyun Sung Park only a few hours later, a promising striker who was drawn from a later game opposite Steve Erceg.

Only a few hours after the revised main event was announced, the vicious middleweight knock -out artist Azamat Bekoev was completely knocked off the map. Despite all the changes to the last second, the event is still planned as 12 attacks, although Vecht fans may notice a clear lack of star power.

That is life in the UFC Apex.
