A full field of ten looked to set the $17,000 filly and mare conditioned pace.
There was a three-horse battle for the early lead, but it was Beautiful Seaside (Trevor Smith) who rode to the top, getting through the opening quarter in a fast time: 26.2.
The competitors were lined up in one row after the half: 55.4.
Naked On A Hill (Chris Page) came out on the clubhouse bend and flushed Beautiful Lather (Sam Widger) and Papi Grad (Luke Hanners).
The three-quarter was completed in 1:23.2.
Papi Grad had to go three wide in the last corner and Beautiful Seaside was the first to enter the track.
Beautiful Lather, the 8-1 choice, passed the leader in the final sixteenth of the mile and held off Papi Grad by a neck. Beautiful Seaside remained in third place.
BEAUTIFUL REPLAY OF THE FOAM
The winning time of 1:51.4 meant a new life point for the four-year-old Lather Up mare.

In the third race of the evening, the $13,000 one-trot non-winners, owner/driver Frode Fladen sent Muscle Maximus to a deficit in a 15-1 charge.
There was a three way battle for control of the race, Mjs Major Tom (Hugh Beatty) was ahead of Gone In A Flash (Brett Miller) in the quarter in:28.
Those two briefly swapped positions and then back again for the half-mile station in:57.4.
Mjs Major Tom opened some daylight and was four lengths ahead of the first over Starts With Love (Bruce Sturgeon) at three-quarters in 1:27.
The eventual winner came from well back in the field of 10 and was able to close the gap and pass the leader at halfway, pulling away by 2 ½ lengths over another closer Dean’s Lucky Day (Chris Page) in 1:57.
MUSCLE MAXIMUS REPEAT
The winning first-year son of Muscle Hill is trained by Rene Sejthen.
Sam Widger and Chris Page both ended the night with three trips to the Dayton Raceway winners circle.
Dayton Raceway returns to action Friday afternoon (Nov. 7) with a 14-race card starting at 4 p.m.
