Madurai, 27e November 2025: Ahead of the highly anticipated FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup Tamil Nadu 2025, captains from all 24 participating countries took part in a very special photo opportunity with the coveted trophy. Twelve captains, each in Madurai, at the newly inaugurated Madurai International Hockey Stadium, and in Chennai, at the iconic Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium, were part of this memorable photo.
The FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup Tamil Nadu 2025 begins on November 28 with hosts India playing their first Pool B match against Chile in Chennai, while defending Pool A champions Germany will open their campaign against South Africa at the Madurai International Hockey Stadium. The grand finale is scheduled to take place on December 10 at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium in Chennai. This is also the first time that the tournament has included 24 countries.
