Karnal, Haryana, November 21, 2025: The semi-finals of the 3rd Hockey India Junior Women Academy Championship 2025 – Zone A & B saw two impressive performances as Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Center cruised past Jai Bharat Hockey Academy 4-0, while Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy outscored Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy 4-0. With their respective wins, both teams have now advanced to the finals of the competition.
In the first semi-final, Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Center outscored Jai Bharat Hockey Academy 4-0. All four goals came in a dominant second-half display, with Amisha Ekka (41′) breaking the deadlock with a well-executed penalty corner. The floodgates then opened as Yashoda (50′), Anushka Bhawre (53′) and Drupati Naik (58′) struck in quick succession to seal Odisha’s convincing win and secure their place in the top-flight match.
In the second semi-final, Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy registered an emphatic 4-0 win over Ghumanhera Riser’s Academy. Captain Sukhpreet Kaur led from the front with a brace (21′, 45′), while Sanna (26′) and Gurjeet Kaur (57′) added a goal each to complete a comprehensive performance and book their place in the Final.
With both teams showing dominant form, Odisha Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Center and Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy will now go head-to-head in the final of the 3rd Hockey India Junior Women Academy Championship 2025 – Zone A & B on November 23.
