Eindhoven, July 21, 2025: The India A Heren Hockey Team ended their Euro tour campaign with a 2-8 loss against the Dutch team on Sunday 20 Julyone With the young Indian midfielder Rajinder Singh and Vooruit Selvam Karthi, the two goals for India A score in the last match. India A had lost their previous match against the Netherlands on July 18one With 0-3 score.
India A had started their euro tour on July 8, 2025 and played a total of eight games against five European teams during this tour.
The team traveled over three cities to compete against some of the top hockey teams in the world, including the world number 1 Netherlands and World Number 3 Belgium.
Speaking of the general experience, India, a coach Shivendra Singh, said: “Although we may have had more losses than victories during this European tour, it was never about the results and more about learning and experience we gained from this tour as a team.”
He added: “We had a mix of senior and junior players as part India A, and they have gained very valuable experience in the last two weeks. As we go back to India, I am convinced that all these players will use this valuable experience and record their game for all their future matches.”
India A played against, Ireland, France, England, Belgium and the Netherlands during this exposure tour and won a total of 3 of their 8 games.
