Hangzhou, September 14, 2025: The Indian Women’s Hockey team won the silver medal on the Women’s Asia Cup 2025, in Hangzhou after a loss of 1-4 against hosts China in the final. Navneet Kaur (1 ‘) scored for India while Captain Ou Zixia (21’), Li Hong (40 ‘), Meirong (51’) and Zhong Jiaqi (53 ‘) would be the goal scorers for the home team.
India made a strong start in the final by continuing in the very first minute by a penalty corner that was converted by veteran Vooruit Navneset Kaur (1 ‘) with a powerful attack. A goal behind, China increased the pace of the game and attacked the intention during the first half.
